Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) has significantly increased its digital asset reserves, adding 93,167 SOL tokens to its holdings within the past hour. This substantial acquisition, valued at approximately $13.15 million, was reported by Cointelegraph and on-chain analytics, signaling continued robust institutional confidence in the Solana ecosystem. The purchase highlights a growing trend of institutional capital flowing into altcoin-focused exchange-traded products.

The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL), which commenced trading on the NYSE on October 28, 2025, represents the first U.S. exchange-traded product offering 100% direct exposure to Solana (SOL). Launched by Bitwise Asset Management, a prominent crypto asset manager overseeing over $15 billion in client assets, BSOL also employs a staking strategy designed to maximize rewards for investors. The fund aims to stake all of its Solana holdings through Bitwise Onchain Solutions, powered by Helius.

Since its launch, BSOL has rapidly gained momentum, accumulating over $500 million in assets under management (AUM) within its initial 18 days of trading. This rapid expansion underscores a broader shift in institutional investment, with major financial players increasingly diversifying their cryptocurrency portfolios beyond traditional Bitcoin and Ethereum exposures. Analysts attribute Solana's appeal to its high transaction throughput, cost-effectiveness, and the burgeoning ecosystem of decentralized applications built upon its blockchain.

The recent accumulation by BSOL is consistent with a larger pattern of inflows observed in Solana spot ETFs, which experienced 21 consecutive days of positive net inflows before a minor retraction on November 26, 2025. Financial analysts note that BSOL's active accumulation rate is particularly high compared to other emerging crypto ETFs, indicating strong institutional belief in Solana's long-term potential. These transparent movements confirm institutional buying and a strategic focus on long-term value appreciation.
