Mumbai – Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra Deol, affectionately known as the 'He-Man' of Indian cinema, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at the age of 89. The veteran star, whose career spanned over six decades, succumbed to heart complications, having been discharged from Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital earlier in the month. His death marks the end of an era for the Indian film industry, just weeks before his 90th birthday.

The news of his passing prompted an outpouring of grief and tributes from across the film fraternity, political figures, and millions of fans worldwide. As Bilal Zuberi succinctly expressed the collective sentiment on social media, "> RIP Dharmendra." His last on-screen appearance was in the 2024 film 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,' with a posthumous release expected in 'Ikkis.'
