ERC3643.org President Dennis O'Connell is slated to attend Sibos 2025 in Frankfurt from September 29 to October 1, participating in one of the financial services industry's largest global events. The organization, which champions the ERC-3643 standard for permissioned tokens, announced its participation, stating, > "Our President, @RealDennisO, will be attending @sibos in Frankfurt from 29 September to 1 October. We look forward to meeting you at one of the largest global financial services events of the year." This engagement underscores the growing importance of compliant tokenization in global finance.

ERC-3643, also known as the T-REX protocol, is an open-source suite of smart contracts designed for the issuance, management, and transfer of permissioned tokens. This standard is crucial for tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs) by embedding compliance, identity verification, and transfer restrictions directly into the digital assets. With over $32 billion in assets already tokenized through the ERC-3643 standard, it has emerged as a leading framework for regulated digital securities.

Sibos 2025, hosted by Swift, will gather thousands of financial leaders, decision-makers, and experts at Messe Frankfurt from September 29 to October 2. The conference theme, "The next frontiers of global finance," will explore transformative forces reshaping the financial ecosystem, including digital assets, tokenization, payments, and AI. O'Connell's presence highlights the standard's relevance in discussions about the future of compliant and interoperable financial infrastructure.

The ERC3643 Association, a non-profit organization, aims to standardize the tokenization market by promoting the ERC-3643 standard, which achieved 'Final' status as an Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) in December 2023. The standard has gained significant recognition, with mentions in a U.S. White House report and discussions with the SEC Crypto Task Force regarding its role in enabling compliant tokenized securities. This demonstrates a clear move towards regulatory understanding and adoption of such standards.

The association recently welcomed the Stellar Development Foundation, further expanding the standard's reach beyond EVM chains and emphasizing cross-chain interoperability. As President, Dennis O'Connell has been a key advocate for the standard's adoption, stating that "ERC-3643 is now the industry reference standard for compliant tokenized securities." This strategic engagement at Sibos is expected to foster further collaboration and accelerate the mainstream adoption of regulated tokenized assets.
