Bangkok, Thailand – The Ethereum Foundation has officially launched "Founders Lab," a new initiative aimed at providing crucial one-on-one mentorship for early-stage Ethereum founders. The program, a key component of the Foundation's broader "Founder Success Program (FSP)," is scheduled to run from November 18-19, 2025, strategically coinciding with Devcon 7 in Bangkok, Thailand. This timing is designed to maximize engagement with the global Ethereum community.

Abbas Khan, Founder Success Manager at the Ethereum Foundation, publicly announced the initiative, stating in a recent tweet, > "Today, we are excited to announce 'Founders Lab'. A new initiative where Ethereum founders can get 1:1 mentorship on ⬩GTM ⬩Fundraising ⬩Product and scaling ⬩Everything it takes to win." Khan highlighted that a primary driver for the program was the frequent request from founders for direct access to leading builders in the space. The FSP, which includes this mentorship, was formally introduced on October 26, 2025, to address critical needs such as go-to-market strategies, fundraising, and achieving product-market fit.

The inaugural group of mentors features several prominent figures from the Web3 ecosystem. Among them are Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon, and Jesse Pollak, who leads the Base team at Coinbase. Nailwal is widely recognized for his contributions to Polygon, a significant scaling solution for Ethereum, while Pollak is instrumental in the development of Coinbase's Layer 2 network. Their participation underscores the high-level expertise available to program participants.

Founders Lab will offer specialized guidance across essential business development areas, including market entry strategies, capital raising, product innovation, and scaling operations. This focused support is intended to equip founders with the tools and insights needed to navigate the challenges of building and expanding projects within the decentralized landscape. Due to limited capacity, a selective application process will be employed to identify promising teams.

This initiative reinforces the Ethereum Foundation's commitment to nurturing innovation and empowering the next generation of Web3 entrepreneurs. By facilitating direct connections with seasoned industry leaders, the Founders Lab aims to bolster the ecosystem and accelerate the creation of impactful decentralized technologies. Further details regarding the application process are anticipated to be released shortly.
