Gemini CLI v0.1.20 Introduces Deep VS Code Integration and Enhanced MCP Capabilities

Google's Gemini Command Line Interface (CLI) has rolled out its v0.1.20 update, featuring a significant integration with Visual Studio Code and substantial enhancements to its Model Context Protocol (MCP) functionalities. Taylor Mullen, Senior Director of Product Management at Google, aim to streamline developer workflows and expand the CLI's AI-driven capabilities.

"Gemini CLI is now deeply integrated with VS Code when running from the integrated terminal," stated Mullen in the update.
