Inc. magazine has unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 Inc. 5000 list, recognizing America's fastest-growing private companies. These 5,000 businesses collectively generated a substantial $300 billion in revenue in 2024, each contributing a unique narrative of growth and entrepreneurial success. The annual list serves as a comprehensive snapshot of the most dynamic segment within the U.S. economy.
To qualify for the prestigious 2025 list, companies were evaluated based on their percentage revenue growth from 2021 to 2024. Eligibility requirements mandate that businesses must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent, not subsidiaries or divisions of larger entities, as of December 31, 2024. A minimum revenue of $100,000 was required for 2021, increasing to $2 million for 2024.
The honorees on this year's Inc. 5000 have demonstrated remarkable resilience and growth amidst economic uncertainty, inflationary pressures, and a fluctuating labor market. Among the top 500 companies, the median three-year revenue growth rate soared to an impressive 1,552 percent, collectively adding over 48,678 jobs to the U.S. economy. Mike Hofman, editor-in-chief of Inc., highlighted that "Making the Inc. 5000 is always a remarkable achievement, but earning a spot this year speaks volumes about a company’s tenacity and clarity of vision."
The list features a diverse array of companies across various sectors, from technology and government services to marketing and financial technology. Notable companies making the list include Akiak Technology, Team Velocity, Society22 PR, and Fund Launch, among many others, each showcasing innovative business models and customer-centric approaches. Their inclusion underscores the entrepreneurial spirit driving economic expansion.
Inc. will celebrate the 2025 honorees at the Inc. 5000 Conference & Gala, scheduled to take place from October 22–24 in Phoenix. Additionally, the top 500 companies will receive special recognition and be featured in the Fall issue of Inc. magazine, further solidifying their status as leaders in their respective industries.
