Jevan Anderson Appointed Crunchbase CFO, Bringing 30+ Years of Finance Expertise

Crunchbase, a leading platform for business information and insights, has announced the appointment of Jevan Anderson as its new Chief Financial Officer. The announcement, made via the company's official social media channel, highlights Anderson's extensive career spanning over three decades in corporate finance, operations, and strategic growth within the technology sector.

Anderson brings a robust background to his new role, having held significant financial leadership positions across various technology companies. His career includes extensive experience in investment banking, corporate development, and financial advisory, with a proven track record of originating and executing numerous transactions totaling over $20 billion in aggregate consideration.

Prior to joining Crunchbase, Anderson served as Chief Financial Officer at GPS Insight, a provider of SaaS-based fleet and field service management solutions, a role he assumed in June 2023. Before GPS Insight, he was the CFO for Rubicon, a software platform focused on smart waste and recycling solutions, from October 2021 until February 2023. His earlier executive experience also includes a tenure as CFO at cybersecurity pioneer Finjan Holdings, which he joined in 2019.

His diverse experience also includes roles as a Senior Vice President at JLL, advising technology and life sciences companies on commercial real estate, and as a Managing Director and Co-Head of Technology M&A at both Wells Fargo and RBC Capital Markets. Anderson's comprehensive financial and strategic expertise is expected to be instrumental in guiding Crunchbase's financial strategy and supporting its continued growth in the business intelligence landscape. He holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University.
