Mastra Completes Major Documentation Overhaul, Integrating Docusaurus and Kapa AI

Mastra, the open-source JavaScript framework for building AI agents, has announced a significant upgrade to its documentation, dubbed "Docstoberfest." The overhaul includes a migration to the Docusaurus framework, re-implemented search functionalities, and the addition of an AI sidebar powered by Kapa AI. The company, founded by former Gatsby developers Sam Bhagwat, Abhi Aiyer, and Shane Thomas, specializes in providing a complete set of AI primitives for production-ready AI applications. Mastra's framework is designed to simplify the development of AI agents, offering tools for workflows, autonomous decisions, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and quality evaluations. This documentation enhancement aims to further support its growing developer community.

A key component of the upgrade is the migration to Docusaurus, a modern static site generator developed by Meta.
