Profound, a company specializing in AI search visibility, has officially launched "Profound Actions," a new platform designed to transform answer engine insights into high-impact, visibility-driving content briefs. The announcement, made via the company's social media, stated the new offering is "Now live across all plans." This strategic expansion aims to empower brands to optimize their presence within the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-powered search engines.

"Profound Actions" differentiates itself by providing data-backed content briefs rather than generic AI-generated content. As stated in the tweet, it offers "> No generic AI generated slop, just data-backed content briefs your team can run with." These briefs are crafted by combining AI search responses and citations, real user prompts, and AI traffic data, helping marketing teams create content specifically tailored for AI search visibility.

The launch builds upon Profound's established platform, which enables brands like Ramp, Plaid, US Bank, and MongoDB to monitor and improve their visibility across seven leading AI answer engines, including ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Google Gemini, Bing Copilot, Perplexity, and xAI Grok. The company's core mission addresses a critical market need as "AI search has Gone Mainstream, Brands are Flying Blind," according to company statements. Profound previously introduced tools such as Conversation Explorer to surface user prompts and Agent Analytics for tracking AI crawlers.

This product rollout follows a significant financial milestone for Profound, which recently secured $20 million in Series A funding led by Kleiner Perkins in June 2025, adding to an earlier $3.5 million seed round. This substantial investment underscores investor confidence in Profound's vision to pioneer "Answer Engine Optimization" and build a marketing platform for the "agentic internet." Future developments for "Profound Actions" are expected to include a wider variety of content types, CMS integrations, and experimentation tools to further measure content performance.
