Replit, the collaborative coding platform, has announced the appointment of Ghazi Masood as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), signaling a strategic move to significantly scale its sales operations. Masood, an experienced sales leader who previously held key roles at Retool and Auth0, is tasked with building a world-class go-to-market machine for the rapidly growing company. The appointment comes as Replit projects reaching $1 billion in annual recurring revenue (ARR) by the end of next year.

Amjad Masad, CEO of Replit, shared the news on social media, stating, "Replit built insane traction in the fortune 500 with logos from banks to hyperscalers and lifestyle brands." He added, "We did this with a tiny sales team, but it's time to scale: Excited to announce that Ghazi, who lead sales at great companies like Retool & Auth0, is joining as CRO!" This highlights the company's ambition to accelerate its enterprise footprint.

Ghazi Masood himself confirmed the move, expressing his enthusiasm for joining Replit and its mission to empower the next billion software creators. He noted that Replit had grown from $2 million to $150 million in ARR within a year and has already surpassed $250 million in ARR, with a recent valuation of $3 billion. Masood emphasized Replit's integrated platform, which allows users to build, design, prototype, and deploy full-stack applications with a single click, positioning it as a leading "Vibe Coding" platform for the enterprise.

Masood's background includes leading sales at Retool and serving as SVP/GM at Auth0, bringing extensive experience in scaling go-to-market strategies for high-growth software companies. His immediate priority at Replit is to expand the sales team across various roles, including Account Executives, Account Managers, BDRs, and Solutions Architects, with streamlined interview processes for efficiency. The company aims to make software creation accessible to everyone, regardless of technical background, offering robust security and governance features for enterprise clients.
