Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Humain, the artificial intelligence company established by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), has officially launched Humain Chat, a new bilingual conversational AI application. Powered by its advanced Large Language Model (LLM), ALLAM 34B, the chatbot is designed to provide Arabic-English interactions rooted in Islamic values and heritage, marking a significant step in the Kingdom's AI ambitions. The introduction of Humain Chat aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and position the nation as a global leader in technology and innovation. Humain, founded in May 2025 and chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, operates as a full-stack AI provider, developing critical infrastructure, cloud services, and advanced AI models. Humain Chat leverages ALLAM 34B, which was trained on over eight petabytes of data, reportedly the largest Arabic dataset to date. This extensive training enables the AI to deliver nuanced, culturally rich responses and support a wide range of Arabic dialects, ensuring relevance for over 400 million Arabic speakers globally. The application is currently available on web, iOS, and Android platforms within Saudi Arabia, with plans for broader regional and international expansion. According to Humain CEO Tareq Amin, the launch signifies Saudi Arabia's capability to develop globally competitive technologies on sovereign infrastructure. Humain Chat is fully compliant with Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law and is hosted entirely within the Kingdom, emphasizing data privacy and national sovereignty. The company has also forged strategic partnerships with global tech giants, including Nvidia, AMD, AWS, and Qualcomm, to bolster its AI infrastructure and capabilities. Humain’s strategic vision extends beyond conversational AI, encompassing the development of next-generation data centers in Riyadh and Dammam, slated for operation in early 2026. The company also plans to establish a $10 billion Humain Ventures fund to invest in AI startups across the globe, further cementing Saudi Arabia's role in the evolving AI landscape. This comprehensive approach aims to create an AI ecosystem that fosters innovation and attracts top talent.
