San Francisco, CA – Sorce Jobs, the AI-powered job application platform dubbed "Tinder for Jobs," is on track to process 1% of all job applications worldwide, having already facilitated over 20 million swipes. The company, a Y Combinator (YC F25) alumnus, attributes part of its rapid scaling to its lean, five-person team and a recent operational shift to Warp, a modern, AI-enhanced developer terminal.

Oluwapelumi Dada, CEO of Sorce Jobs, highlighted the company's unexpected origin, stating, > "I didn't want to start a company. I just wanted to apply to jobs faster." This personal need evolved into a platform where users swipe right on desired roles, and Sorce's AI agent handles the application process, including form-filling and cover letter generation. The innovative approach quickly gained traction, with companies like SpaceX, Anduril, Stripe, DoorDash, and Lyft utilizing the platform for hiring.

The platform's efficacy was validated early on when major companies began hiring through Sorce. Dada recounted, > "Our biggest fear was: are you just going to destroy the industry? Then Anduril hired someone from Sorce, and SpaceX hired someone from Sorce. I was like, okay, they actually like us." This success underscores Sorce's disruptive potential in the recruitment industry.

Sorce Jobs' impressive metrics include 20 million total swipes, interviews or hires by every major tech company, and 2.7 million video views during its viral launch. The company, founded in 2024 by Dada, Daniel Ajayi, and David Alade, built its first version in 2-3 weeks and launched the app in just seven weeks. Their acceptance into Y Combinator, even "three days after the deadline," further solidified their trajectory.

A key operational improvement for the team involved switching to Warp, a development environment praised for its efficiency and user experience. Dada noted the positive impact, explaining, > "Warp is a breath of fresh air, it’s like moving from Teams to Slack. The design is just really beautiful." This move from a previous system, Rippling, which Dada found confusing, highlights the importance of streamlined tools for high-velocity startups. The team aims to set a high bar for B2B products, aspiring for the simplicity and beauty of Warp in their own future offerings.
