Tesla officially commenced international deliveries of its Cybertruck in South Korea on November 27, 2025, marking the electric pickup's debut outside North America. The milestone was confirmed by Tesla Korea on X, stating, > "On November 27, 2025, the first Cybertruck deliveries were completed in Korea." This move establishes South Korea as the inaugural overseas market for the distinctive stainless-steel vehicle, as reported by Sawyer Merritt.

The Cybertruck is available in South Korea with a starting price of 145,000,000 won for the dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variant, approximately $99,000 USD. The top-tier tri-motor Cyberbeast model is priced at 160,000,000 won, or about $109,000 USD. Tesla opened orders for the vehicle in late August, with initial reservation holders given a week to confirm before general orders began on September 5.

South Korea's selection as the first international market underscores its status as a tech-forward and electric vehicle-hungry nation with a robust charging infrastructure. Analysts suggest this expansion aims to strengthen Tesla's presence in Asia's rapidly growing EV market. However, the Cybertruck faces challenges, including its classification as a medium-duty vehicle, which disqualifies it from local EV subsidies, and South Korea not being a traditional pickup truck market.

This launch coincides with Tesla's recent rollout of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) software in South Korea for its Model S and Model X vehicles, making it the seventh global market to receive the advanced driver-assistance system. Tesla has indicated plans to extend FSD access to Cybertruck owners by the end of the year. The company has also opened Cybertruck orders in other global regions, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, signaling a broader international push.

Despite the higher price point compared to the U.S. market and expected lower sales volumes, the Cybertruck's arrival in South Korea is a significant step in Tesla's global strategy. It tests the international appetite for its unconventional design and expands its footprint in key overseas markets. The company continues to navigate market-specific regulations and consumer preferences as it broadens the Cybertruck's reach beyond North America.
