Tesla Diner Debuts in Hollywood with 80 Superchargers, Redefining EV Charging Experience

Los Angeles, CA – Tesla has officially opened its highly anticipated retro-futuristic diner and Supercharger station at 7001 West Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood, offering electric vehicle owners a unique blend of dining and charging amenities. The facility, which commenced public operations on July 21, 2025, aims to transform the charging experience into a destination, featuring an extensive array of Supercharging stalls and integrated entertainment options.

Initial visitors have expressed positive reactions to the innovative concept. One social media user, DennisCW, remarked on the impressive scale and integration, stating, "I thought the @Tesla Diner might be kinda tacky. But after going last night… it’s actually pretty sick." He highlighted the "80 (!) 325kW Supercharging stalls" and the seamless "In-car menu ordering integration" as particularly notable features.

The two-story, saucer-shaped diner embodies CEO Elon Musk's long-held vision of a "Grease meets Jetsons" establishment, first teased in 2018. Beyond the numerous charging points, the Hollywood location boasts an "amazing rooftop lounge with shade & seating," a "Tesla_Optimus robot hanging out," and essential conveniences like "free air for your tires" and well-maintained bathrooms. Two large 45-foot LED screens are also present, intended for drive-in movie viewing.

This venture represents a strategic move by Tesla to enhance the charging experience and potentially diversify its business model. Elon Musk has indicated that if the Hollywood diner proves successful, the company plans to establish similar facilities "in major cities around the world, as well as at Supercharger sites on long distance routes." This expansion could redefine roadside amenities for EV drivers globally.

The diner operates 24/7, offering classic American diner fare, including a "Tesla Burger" with "Electric Sauce," designed by chef Eric Greenspan. The integration of technology, such as in-car ordering, and the presence of the Optimus robot underscore Tesla's commitment to a high-tech, immersive customer experience. The facility's robust charging capacity and entertainment offerings position it as a potential blueprint for future EV infrastructure.

"Tesla has something here," DennisCW concluded in his tweet, envisioning "a Tesla Diner on every major highway or city stop." The opening marks a significant step in Tesla's efforts to make EV ownership more convenient and enjoyable, extending beyond vehicle manufacturing into hospitality and entertainment.
