The Volonaut Airbike, developed by inventor Tomasz Patan, known for his work on the Jetson ONE eVTOL, features a distinctive open-air design with no visible propellers. Instead, it utilizes a proprietary jet propulsion system, allowing for vertical takeoff, automatic hovering, and a reported top speed of 124 mph (200 km/h). Its lightweight construction, achieved through advanced carbon fiber materials and 3D printing, makes it seven times lighter than a conventional motorcycle, contributing to its agility and maneuverability.
Patan's previous project, the propeller-driven Jetson ONE, gained attention as a personal electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
