Wassieverse, the Solana-based 3D NFT project, has officially announced its plans to launch the VERSE token in the fourth quarter of 2025. The announcement, initially shared by "smolting (wassie, verse)" on social media, included a link to a post from the official @wassieverse account confirming the Q4 2025 timeline for the token's debut.

The VERSE token is expected to serve as the native cryptocurrency for the Wassieverse ecosystem, which aims to bring the popular "Wassie" lore and culture to life through immersive 3D experiences, high-fidelity adventures, and entertaining mini-games. The project is built on the Solana blockchain and consists of a collection of 3000 fully rigged 3D NFTs.

"Smolting," also known as @inversebrah, is a co-creator and key figure in the Wassie lore, having originated the meme alongside @wasserpest in 2017/2018. Their direct involvement underscores the project's commitment to its foundational culture and community. The Wassieverse NFTs have established a presence in the digital asset market, with a market capitalization of approximately 7.58K SOL ($1.01 Million) as of late November 2025.

Further expanding its reach, the founder of Wassieverse is also recognized as an angel investor in Monad, a prominent layer-1 blockchain. This connection has led to speculation within the crypto community regarding potential integrations or airdrop opportunities for Wassieverse NFT holders within the broader Monad ecosystem, signaling strategic positioning for the upcoming token launch.
