A long-unfilmed chapter from Quentin Tarantino's original Kill Bill script, titled "Yuki's Revenge," is set to debut as an animated short within the popular video game Fortnite on November 30, 2025. The unexpected collaboration was announced at the recent Fortnite Chapter 7 event, featuring appearances by Tarantino himself and Kill Bill star Uma Thurman, confirming the project's official backing. The short will introduce Yuki Yubari, the sister of the infamous Gogo Yubari, as she seeks vengeance against Beatrix Kiddo, also known as The Bride.

"Yuki's Revenge" originates from Tarantino's initial 2003 screenplay for Kill Bill, detailing a storyline where Gogo Yubari's sister hunts down The Bride following Gogo's death in Kill Bill Volume 1. This sequence was ultimately cut from the films due to concerns over pacing and the already extensive runtime of the two-part epic. Its realization as an animation within Fortnite marks a unique approach to expanding the beloved film's lore.

The involvement of Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman at the Fortnite Chapter 7 event underscores the significance of this crossover. The event served as the official unveiling of the animated short, with Fortnite later sharing promotional material on social media. This development has generated considerable buzz among fans of both the film franchise and the gaming world.

Beyond the animated short, the collaboration will integrate Kill Bill characters into the Fortnite universe. Players can expect to see The Bride, Gogo, and Yuki Yubari join the game's expanding roster, with the "Yuki's Revenge" animation providing crucial backstory and context for the new character. Hints of this crossover began earlier with Beatrix Kiddo's appearance in the Fortnite Chapter 6 finale teaser.

Coinciding with the Fortnite launch, Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, a unified cut of both films, will hit theaters on December 5, 2025. This theatrical re-release will feature a separate 7.5-minute animated sequence and previously unseen footage, but "Yuki's Revenge" is exclusively part of the Fortnite experience. The decision to debut the lost chapter in a video game rather than the cinematic re-release highlights a growing trend of interactive storytelling.
