SignalRank Index Reports Top Decile Performance in H1 2025, Completing 35 Series B Investments

Palo Alto, CA – SignalRank, the technology-driven venture investment platform, has released its "State of the Series B ecosystem - H1 2025 update," detailing significant performance milestones for its SignalRank Index and its growing influence in the Series B investment landscape. The update, shared via the company's official social media, highlights the firm's strategic approach to late-stage venture capital.

SignalRank operates as an AI-based systematic investment platform, designed to provide accredited investors access to a diversified portfolio of high-growth technology and AI companies at the Series B stage. The company, founded in 2021, leverages proprietary algorithms to identify and invest in promising ventures, supporting seed fund managers in maintaining their equity positions.

As of May 2025, the SignalRank Index has demonstrated strong early performance, with the 2023 cohort reporting a 1.26x multiple on invested capital (MOIC) and the 2024 cohort achieving 1.2x MOIC. These returns position the Index in the top decile among comparable venture investments. The company also announced it has completed 35 Series B investments within 24 months, starting from May 2023.

This investment activity has propelled SignalRank to become the world's second most active Series B investor, trailing only Andreessen Horowitz in completed deals. The firm has co-invested alongside leading venture capital firms such as Sequoia Capital, General Catalyst, Lightspeed, and Khosla Ventures. The company also unveiled Version 4 (v4) of its investment selection model, an advanced system that combines heuristic and machine learning techniques. Backtesting suggests that the v4 model can reject up to 87% of Series B opportunities deemed unlikely to perform, while projecting an average 6x return over five years for annual investment cohorts. The backtest shows performance that exceeds that of any known Series B investor over a five-year horizon." SignalRank aims to eventually list the Index, broadening access for a wider range of investors.
