Grammy-nominated singer Benson Boone is reportedly in discussions to make his feature film acting debut in Legendary Entertainment's upcoming live-action adaptation of 'Gundam,' where he would star alongside Sydney Sweeney. Sweeney was previously confirmed to be in final negotiations for a leading role in the film.

The live-action 'Gundam' movie is being co-developed by Legendary and Bandai Namco Filmworks, with Jim Mickle, known for his work on "Sweet Tooth," attached to write and direct. While details regarding Boone's specific role remain undisclosed, sources suggest this would be his first major acting credit. The project has been in development since 2021, with Jordan Vogt-Roberts initially slated to direct before Mickle took the helm.
