Claynosaurz NFT Holders to Share in Expanding Franchise IP

Montreal, Canada – Holders of the popular Claynosaurz NFT collection are set to gain a direct stake in the intellectual property (IP) of the burgeoning Claynosaurz franchise, a move that signals a significant shift in how Web3 communities can participate in the growth of their favored digital assets. This development, highlighted by prominent Web3 figure Josh Ong, allows NFT owners to "get a piece of the Claynosaurz franchise," underscoring the project's commitment to its early supporters.

The Claynosaurz project, which launched its Genesis collection of 10,222 3D-animated dinosaur NFTs on the Solana blockchain in November 2022, has rapidly expanded its ecosystem. This expansion includes a recently announced collaboration with leading game publisher Gameloft to develop a mobile game. Nicholas Cabana, co-founder and creative director of Claynosaurz, emphasized that this partnership empowers players with "true ownership of their digital assets."

Further solidifying its cross-media ambitions, Claynosaurz Inc. has partnered with European media holding company Mediawan Kids & Family to co-produce a 39-episode animated series. This venture marks a pioneering effort to transform an NFT franchise into a full-fledged children's animated show. The team, composed of animation industry veterans from studios like Illumination, Dreamworks, Sony, and Disney, has already garnered over 450 million views for its short-form content.

While specific details regarding the exact nature of the "piece of the franchise" for NFT holders are still emerging, the Claynosaurz team has consistently aimed to bridge Web2 and Web3 audiences. The project's official terms of service state that NFTs encapsulate "ownership information for digital collectibles," where "ownership rights are held by the user alone." This approach positions Claynosaurz as a leader in evolving digital asset ownership and community engagement within the entertainment industry.
