Filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza is set to release his new documentary, "The Dragon's Prophecy," which delves into the October 7, 2023, attacks in the Middle East, connecting them to ancient biblical prophecies. The film, based on Jonathan Cahn's international bestseller, will open in select theaters on October 6 and 8, 2025, with streaming availability on SalemNOW starting October 9, 2025. David Pollack recently sat down with D'Souza to discuss the film and its themes.

The documentary features exclusive interviews with prominent figures including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Mike Huckabee, Erick Stakelbeck, and Eric Metaxas. It combines never-before-seen footage from October 7, archaeological discoveries, and commentary on radical Islam and anti-Semitism. D'Souza stated, "We went into a war zone to capture this story, because the conflict over Israel is part of a far bigger story foretold in Scripture."

"The Dragon's Prophecy" aims to provide a unique perspective on history, current events, and biblical prophecy, interpreting the meaning of the October 7 events, anti-Semitism, and terrorism. Author Jonathan Cahn emphasized the film's urgency, noting, "This film doesn’t just interpret prophecy—it confronts it. The stakes are too high for silence." The film is presented as a "stunning look at history, current events, and biblical prophecy, unveiling the meaning of Oct 7, anti-Semitism, terrorism, and the forces battling for the human soul," according to David Pollack's social media post.

The film also touches upon the broader context of societal issues, including the "radicalization of young Americans," a topic D'Souza discussed with Pollack alongside Charlie Kirk's legacy. D'Souza, known for his conservative political documentaries, has a history of examining contemporary political and social issues through a critical lens. His previous works often explore themes of American history, culture, and political ideologies.

Salem Media Group, which is distributing the film, expressed pride in the project. Dave Santrella, CEO of Salem Media Group, highlighted the film's ability to connect faith with world events in a challenging and inspiring manner. The documentary is expected to resonate with audiences interested in the intersection of faith, geopolitics, and historical interpretation, particularly concerning the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
