CAMARILLO, Calif. – Filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza's latest documentary, "The Dragon's Prophecy," is set to debut in select theaters on October 6 and 8, 2025, with streaming available on SalemNOW starting October 9. The film, produced by Salem Media Group and D’Souza Media, delves into the October 7 terror attacks in the Middle East, drawing connections to ancient biblical conflicts between the Israelites and the Philistines.

D'Souza announced the film on social media, stating, > "Is the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians the revival of an ancient conflict recorded in the Bible? I went into a war zone to make my new film “The Dragon’s Prophecy.” In theaters and streaming around October 7, 2025." This statement underscores the film's central premise, exploring the geopolitical tensions through a spiritual and historical lens.

The documentary is based on an international bestseller by author Jonathan Cahn, who also features in the film. Cahn emphasized the urgency of the film's message, remarking, "This film doesn’t just interpret prophecy—it confronts it. The stakes are too high for silence. This is a message for the times we are living in." The film aims to provide a unique perspective on the ongoing conflict.

"The Dragon's Prophecy" incorporates never-before-seen footage from the October 7 events, alongside archaeological discoveries intended to affirm biblical accounts. It includes commentary on radical Islam, anti-Semitism, and global instability. Notable figures interviewed for the film include Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Mike Huckabee, Erick Stakelbeck, and Eric Metaxas, offering diverse viewpoints on the intersection of faith, history, and current global events.

D'Souza, known for his politically and religiously charged documentaries, stated that the film transcends current political debates. He explained, "We went into a war zone to capture this story, because the conflict over Israel is part of a far bigger story foretold in Scripture. The Dragon's Prophecy transcends the current political debate. It is ultimately about the destiny of nations and a battle for the soul of humanity." Dave Santrella, CEO of Salem Media Group, expressed pride in bringing the project to audiences, highlighting its role in connecting faith with world events. Pre-orders for DVDs and streaming access are currently available through the film's official website.
