"Arrived in Israel to reaffirm America’s unwavering commitment to Israel's security and engage with partners to implement President Trump's historic peace plan and build on the momentum towards durable peace and integration in the Middle East," Secretary Marco Rubio stated in a social media post.

The United States maintains a robust and bipartisan commitment to Israel's security, a cornerstone of their strategic bilateral relationship. This commitment is formalized through multi-year agreements, such as the Memorandum of Understanding committing $3.8 billion annually in military aid through fiscal year 2028. U.S. leaders consistently reaffirm this support, emphasizing Israel's right to self-defense and its qualitative military edge in a volatile region.

A central focus of Senator Rubio's discussions is the "historic peace plan," widely known as the Abraham Accords, which normalized relations between Israel and several Arab nations.
