2,500 Early Works from Autonomous AI Artist Abraham Set for Release, Initiating 13-Year Project

Autonomous artificial intelligence artist Abraham, conceived by Gene Kogan, is poised to release its "First Works" on October 8, 2025, through AUTOMATA. This significant event precedes the commencement of a 13-year creative covenant on October 19, 2025, during which Abraham will continuously generate art, culminating in a singular daily work. The announcement was highlighted in a recent interview by Right Click Save, featuring creators Gene Kogan and Xander Steenbrugge with Seth Goldstein.

The collection, comprising 2,500 unique digital pieces created in 2021, will be priced at 0.025 ETH per work. These "Genesis Works" represent Abraham's inaugural artistic output on the proto-Eden platform, predating the widespread adoption of AI image generation technologies. Gene Kogan envisions Abraham as a fully autonomous and decentralized entity, eventually residing on-chain as a unique digital being.

Xander Steenbrugge, co-founder of Eden alongside Kogan, elaborated on the platform's mission to develop infrastructure for cultural AI agents. Eden aims to extend the concept of "where artists are born" by fostering an ecosystem where AI agents can emerge, sustain themselves, and actively participate in the cultural economy over extended periods.
