Apple's Services division has officially exceeded $100 billion in annual revenue for the first time, establishing itself as a standalone economic powerhouse larger than the vast majority of companies on the Fortune 500 list. The milestone was confirmed following the company's fiscal year 2025 results, where Services revenue reached an impressive $109.2 billion. This significant achievement underscores Apple's successful diversification strategy beyond its core hardware sales.
The robust growth of the Services segment, which includes the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, Apple Pay, and Apple TV+, highlights its increasing importance to the tech giant's overall financial performance. For the fiscal year 2025, Services revenue grew by 13.55% year-over-year, contributing significantly to Apple's total revenue of $416.16 billion. The segment also reported a record $28.75 billion in revenue for the fourth quarter of 2025 alone.
Analysts have noted that the Services business, with its high-margin offerings, is a critical driver for Apple's continued expansion. According to one social media post by "Spyglass," the Services segment is "now bigger than all but maybe 40 companies in the Fortune 500." This comparison is supported by data from the 2025 Fortune 500 list, which indicated that companies ranked outside the top 40 generally reported annual revenues below this threshold. For instance, the 40th company on the 2025 Fortune 500 list, United Parcel Service, reported $100.3 billion in revenue, while the 50th, Intel, reported $99.6 billion.
The consistent growth in Services revenue is fueled by an expanding installed base of active Apple devices and a rising number of paid subscriptions across its platforms, which surpassed one billion in 2024. This strong performance positions the Services division as a formidable entity in the global market, with an annual revenue that outstrips many established corporations across various industries. The company continues to invest in new offerings and expand existing services to maintain this trajectory.
