Avalanche and Helika Launch $150,000 Accelerator to Scale Blockchain Gaming Studios

The Avalanche Foundation and Helika, a prominent provider of technical and creative solutions for the video games industry, have officially launched a joint video game accelerator program. This new initiative, which recently opened applications, aims to identify and support the next generation of studios building on the Avalanche blockchain by providing significant financial and strategic backing. The program addresses the critical need for scalable support in blockchain gaming, as highlighted by Avalanche, stating, "What blockchain gaming needs isn’t more ideas, it’s support to scale them."

Selected studios participating in the accelerator will receive an initial $25,000 in support, with the potential for up to an additional $125,000 for qualifying or top-performing teams, totaling $150,000 per studio. This three-month intensive program is designed to fast-track promising projects, offering resources, mentorship from industry leaders, and technical assistance. It is open to both Web3-native teams and traditional game developers exploring blockchain integration.

The program's comprehensive benefits extend beyond funding, including access to Helika's advanced analytics solutions for tracking performance, improving retention, and optimizing monetization strategies. Participants will also receive dedicated assistance for integrating with the Avalanche blockchain, community-building support, and go-to-market strategies. A final Demo Day event will provide opportunities for teams to present their games to investors, publishers, and ecosystem partners.

Anton Umnov, Founder and CEO of Helika, emphasized the partnership's goal to provide essential tools and data.
