The Nano cryptocurrency community has initiated a crowdfunding campaign to secure a television feature on the Dutch program "Europe Connected," aiming to raise approximately 9,000 Nano (XNO) to cover production costs. The initiative, led by community member Forest Horsman on behalf of the Nano Foundation, seeks to highlight Nano as an innovative UK company on RTL7, RTLZ, and the streaming platform Videoland. The total production cost for the segment is €5,950, excluding VAT.

The "Europe Connected" program, broadcast on prominent Dutch channels RTL7 and RTLZ and available on Videoland, focuses on showcasing innovative European companies driving digital transformation and sustainability. The proposed feature would position Nano as one of eight selected UK companies. According to the campaign, the TV segment would be two minutes long, broadcast four times across RTL7 and RTLZ, and include three 15-second social media videos, an online publication on europe-connected.nl, and rights for the Nano community to use the report independently.

Donations for the fundraiser are exclusively accepted in Nano (XNO). The campaign specifies a target of around 9,000 Nano, which aligns with the €5,950 production cost given recent exchange rates where 1 XNO is approximately €0.66. Any funds raised beyond the target will be allocated to additional Nano outreach and promotional activities, with detailed documentation of their expenditure. Nano founder Colin LeMahieu and Director of Communications George Coxon are slated to speak in the studio segment for the feature.

Nano (XNO) is a digital currency known for its instant, feeless, and energy-efficient transactions, utilizing a unique block-lattice data structure. Its minimal energy consumption per transaction, often cited as less than a Google search, positions it as a sustainable alternative in the cryptocurrency space. The project has seen recent developments including new exchange listings and payment integrations, further expanding its accessibility and utility. This television feature aims to significantly boost Nano's visibility to a broader European audience.
