Adrian Dittmann, a prominent figure on the X platform, has announced the official launch of "The Noetic Order," a new community designed to foster high-signal, apolitical discussions, particularly within the realms of technology and artificial intelligence. The initiative, primarily hosted on Discord and as an X community, aims to counteract the pervasive "low signal, low utility" and politicized content prevalent in much of today's online discourse.

The announcement was made during a recent X Space, where Dittmann elaborated on the community's core philosophy. "The Noetic Order" is envisioned as a space where individuals can engage in productive conversations based on ethics and shared goals, rather than political affiliations. Dittmann emphasized a commitment to "getting things done" and focusing on tangible advancements.

The community's structure leverages both X and Discord to provide a curated experience. The X community serves as a broader platform for content dissemination and initial engagement, while the Discord server offers a more intimate setting for in-depth discussions among specialists and enthusiasts. This dual approach seeks to onboard a wider audience while maintaining a high standard of interaction.

According to Dittmann, the motivation behind "The Noetic Order" stems from a desire to move past the unproductive nature of politicized online debates. He stated, "We kind of keep it that way because politics just kind of like waste a lot of time. They're very low signal, low utility type of activity and the actual thing that's like high utility and high signal gets drowned out by all the people who would rather focus on politics than actually getting [things] done."

The community plans to feature content from various experts, including AI researchers and tech reporters, focusing on deep analysis and practical applications rather than speculative or superficial topics. Dittmann noted that he published an article detailing the initiative on his "Timeless Martian" X account, which serves as the official communication channel for the community.

"The Noetic Order" also harbors long-term ambitions, including the potential to fund research that might not receive support from traditional organizations. This vision underscores the community's commitment to tangible progress and its role in shaping future advancements by bringing together diverse talents focused on shared, productive objectives.
